Koh Rong Samloem Island is the second biggest tourist island in Cambodia. Right next to it’s bigger neighbor, Koh Rong Island. Don’t get them confused, but if you do, it won’t make much difference (except when trying to find your hotel.) Koh Rong Samloem has less party places on the island compared to it’s neighbor Koh Rong Island. You can away travel between the islands for the day.
The Island name is pronounce Sanlum, but usually spelled Samloem. Go figure.?
Koh Rong Samloem is about 9 kilometers long and 4 kilometers wide. 37 kilometers of coastline.
There’s a couple tourist areas, and quite a few isolated bungalows or resorts around the island. No public electricity yet. All the businesses on the island have their own (or shared) generators.
TripAdvisor or the “Visit Koh Rong” websites have much more information.
