
The Islands of Cambodia have a varied mix of accommodations. Dorm rooms, tents, seaside or hillside bungalows, and mid-range resorts, and top of the line world class resorts with private villas and swimming pools. These beds, rooms, villas and bungalows cost between $12 and $5,000 a night.

All the bigger resorts have generators. The electricity on the bigger islands is not up 100% of the time, but still pretty good.

Most of the accommodations are either right on the beach or a hillside going up from the ocean. Some are in the middle of the islands. And some are the whole island.

Some of the smaller islands have no accommodations, but you can visit in the day. The biggest island in Cambodia is Koh Kong Island. A small part of this island is a naval base, but you can visit in the day from Koh Kong City.

Koh Rong and Koh Rong Samloem Islands get about 95% of all the tourists. Right next to each other, off the coast of SihanoukVille, Koh Rong is the bigger and more popular of the two islands. The most activities and accommodations. Koh Rong Samloem is generally a quieter island.
