Kep, Cambodia is located on the South-East corner of Cambodia, on the Bay of Cambodia (Bay of Thailand).  Kep, where most island boat trips originate from, is also on the border of Vietnam (the Ha Tien border crossing).

The largest island visible and off the coast of Kep, is Phu Quoc, Vietnam. 

Kep has a series of smaller islands, the most popular is Koh Tonsay (or Rabbit Island).

You can rent a private boat for day trips around the island, or go on the Rabbit Island Ferry, for a half hour long trip to the island (day trip or overnight trip).
